This movie is a little different from what we usually get around here. Sure, we see music videos all the time, but we don't often get videos featuring country music. Colder not only uses a different genre of music for its soundtrack, but the movie is comprised entirely of in-game footage. That's right, all in-game footage.
According to the creator, Colder was created as a send-off to friends who were leaving WoW. When transmogrification was announced, however, those friends decided to stay. So while the purpose of this video is no longer valid, Colder is still a nice change of pace.

I thought this was great! I love the use of country music. Too many people think of country music as all rootin-tootin, and a lot of it is, but there are equally as many beautiful, thought-provoking songs. I have never had any other genre capture so many emotions for me. Country is too often overlooked!
I don't care if you like country music or not, but that song was extremely emotional and very fitting knowing the backstory/context. i'm glad to see their friend is staying in wow though, because the relationship depicted in the movie seems like a pretty amazing one. A lot of that ingame footage didn't seem like they shot it specifically for the movie, like they've been raiding together for quite some time and just happened to have all these great clips of the 2 of them together. great movie!
Same as others; country music not my cup of tea but the song was great and told the story well with the in game footage. It was sad and yes, showed emotion. I liked it a lot.
