BlizzCon 2011 presale merchandise now available

Just like last year, Blizzard has made certain BlizzCon-exclusive items available for preorder by BlizzCon 2011 ticketholders. There are almost 100 pieces of merchandise available this year, from designer toys to poker sets to calendars to Starcraft 2 Mega Bloks sets, and they're ready to be viewed (and purchased) right this very moment! Check out the presale on the Blizzard Store, but keep in mind that you won't be able to see the new merchandise unless you're logged into a Battle.net account with a BlizzCon ticket (or virtual ticket) attached to it.

It means they've still got stock of the same figure they've been selling for a few years now.

Panderan figure was sold last year and has been on the Blizzard store all year.

The quality of the Mega Blocks stuff has really gone up in the past few years. I've gotten some of their HALO sets, and while it's not LEGO, it's miles better than what Mega Blocks used to be. I'm excited for their Starcraft stuff, it'll make for nice additions to the collection.

Unfortunately I've never encountered mega blocks outside of the US whereas Lego can be found under bare feet at midnight the world over.

One thing people should keep in mind with the Battlecruiser. That item has a very good chance to show up in some form as a mass market item. No way would Mega Blocks deign something that large just for Blizzcon, the amount of people who can get it do not offset the costs to manufacture it. That, and this is something which would be a high end flagship for Mega Block's Starcraft 2 line.

What we may see though is the red version here as a con exclusive, while Jim Raynor's blue colored one will be the mass marketed release, and go for much cheaper since it is not a con exclusive.

Hard to do pictures for some of them. They're offering t-shirts and posters for Blizzcon and WoW, but the art for them is not being shown.

Exact same thought I was having. Stupid authenticator, needed to do just about anything, and it still does not stop account hacking.
Oh well, guess not a total loss, since I do get a pet out of it - but otherwise, what a waste that stupid authenticator needs to be used even just to log on the Bliz store :(

Has there ever been proof of an authenticator account being hacked? Last I recall no. Prove me wrong.

Actually, yes. There have been cases where someone had a nasty, new keylogger on their system which takes the login info and the Authenticator code, and sends it to a third party, while throwing up a fake error message keeping the person from logging in.

The person who gets the info logs in immediately, and starts screwing with your account.

Even Blizzard confirmed the existance of these trojans. They are very rare, but do exist. Don't ask for me to link it, it was on the old forums which got wiped. But even Blizzard will say the Authenticator is not a 100% effective security.
