Who is going to watch the debut of season two of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic tomorrow? Do you guys know that John de Lancie is voicing the new villian?!? I can't wait.
(Disclaimer: Yes, I know that most people here are not fans of the show. I am simply sharing my excitement with those who are. Thank you for not hatin'.)

I'm in paroxysms of sheer delight over MLP.
"Do you guys know that John de Lancie is voicing the new villian?!?"
WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS

I've been avoiding the leaked clips, but if John de Lancie is in it I'm tempted.
I unfortunately won't be able to watch it live tomorrow, but I'll grab it later once someone's uploaded it.

At first I was perplexed, then I realized that your post is indeed relevant to the Q. ;)

I was already excited over getting a fresh Fluttershy fix. And now I'm even more excited at the prospect of John de Lancie voicing a character.

Oh GOD$%#(! Curse you to the Nine Hells and back, Shinae! This breaks me.
I've been trying. I've been trying SO freakin' hard to not get sucked in. I've had my heart stolen by Sailor Moon, the Powerpuff Girls defeated me, but I've resisted riding along with My Little Pony until now.
On the other hand... It *did* take a freaking *Q* (and not just *A* Q, but *the* Q!) to finally break down my resistance, so I guess that's *something.*

I'm guessing I was downvoted because of my phrasing? I'm avoiding the leaks of the new episode because I don't want to be spoiled, not because I dislike the show (on the contrary; there's a bunch of MLP merch in my apartment right now).
My main character is even named Macintosh (also have Trollestia claimed, but as I'm not Horde I'm not sure what to do with the name yet).

I totally came here just to post this very question but you beat me to it. Hell yes I'm watching it, probably tomorrow night on Youtube.
I'll also be going into the city to see Warhorse tomorrow afternoon, so that should be an interesting contrast.

Durinthal, I'd imagine you got downvoted because people are blanket downvoting every response on this topic, and yours had the least upvotes to counterbalance it.

Isn't this exciting?! Are you excited, cause I'm excited, I've never been so excited- Well, except for that time I saw you walking into town and I went *GAAAAASP*, but I mean really, who could top that?

That show is still around?
Granted, I've lost track of shows for the younger set, but "prancing sparkle-barf ponies" outlasted all the other great 80s shows?

@Al My Little Pony and Transformers constantly get remakes every few years.

Not only is it still around...it is ridiculously awesome in its latest incarnation.
Hopefully Season two of MLP:FiM will live up to the epicness of Season one.

There's no shortage of redone 80's cartoons either. Aside from Ponys and Transformers, there's a new Thundercats on CN and a He-Man show in production.
