Swathe Productions is a mother-and-son team we've featured before now. They create machinima as a way of spending quality time together while expanding their creativity. It's a pretty awesome family endeavor, and I'm always excited to see what they do next.
In Dragonwrath: Arcane Shot is a Spell, Right?, they tackle the inevitable drama surrounding new legendaries. An impartial council gets together to sort out who will earn the new legendary by interviewing a series of applicants. And, of course, hijinks ensue.
I really liked this video, and I'm impressed by how Swathe's skills are constantly improving. This was a fun machinima to watch and is a good addition to the team's portfolio. I obviously hope they continue creating.
Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at moviewatch@wowinsider.com.
I liked the idea The lines weren't delivered in a particularly convincing way though, and I can't say I think much of how the animation was stitched together
It was cute and I watched it all, which is more than I can say about a lot of videos. The gnome warlock made me laugh with his "you'd know that if you weren't idiots...".
Plus actually, since the proc from Dragonwrath only activates off the players own abilities, Warlock would be the LEAST suited class, followed by frost mages, elemental shaman and then the rest (assuming all classes did the same dps), as the higher the damage from non-pet abilities, the less benefit the proc would provide :)
The proc rate on the staff has actually been found to be one of the highest for all three warlock specs, so I would be careful saying that around any of them (;

I feel like this was written for Frostheim.

All I have to say about this is "Eeehhhhhh..." On second note, doesn't the human female sound like Louanne from King of the Hill?

would be nice if the women characters weren't either ditsy, hitting on the guys, or talking about guys.
SamLowry Sep 17th 2011 10:44AM
Are you suggesting male characters don't use sex to get what they want?
Riiiight.
thpthpthp1 Sep 18th 2011 6:53AM
You realise they were ripping on all the characters right? All of the characters were stupid, egotistical, ect, not just the women.

After watching "Meet the Hunter" 10+ times I think my standards are simply set up way too high, because I think this is utter crap & waste of time.
