Hey! Maybe they'll announce they'll actually let you use your silly greens and legendaries with transmogrification, after figuring out that no, their game isn't super-serious enough to restrict you from smacking Deathwing with a rotten codfish and rolling pin, or carrying Medivh's old swinging-pole into combat.

I agree with the earlier statements on both - Legendaries should remain special models, not copiable. And while I'm much in favor of it, I can see the benefit of a list of non-moggable items, to keep the game's ascetic pointed toward actual weapons.

I disagree with regard to legendaries. If you have done the work to acquire the legendaries, you should be able to display those models on your current gear.
I do think that legendaries should not be copied over - it would be a shame to have Thunderfury look like some piece of rubbish. But it would be great to keep the legendary looks in the game instead of retiring them when the next tier comes out.

I agree that the people who have legendary items should be able to use them in transmogrifying their gear if they want to. Consider all the Priests and Hunters who will be using Benediction and Rhok'delar, two items that are essentially class legendary weapons without the orange text. I wouldn't be surprised if this restriction were lifted before they release 4.3.

That's pretty much what I was saying, though why I got thumbed down to half a star is befuddling to say the least.
I've said before that they shouldn't restrict us in such a way. I can sort of understand restricting "silly greens", but legendaries should be something they allow. People put work into those things, and it should definitely be allowed for legendaries like medivhs old staff "Atliesh" (if I'm remembering the name right), which can't be gotten anymore, allowed into this.
I can't be the only person who misses the simple, striking style of that one can I?

Awall, Rhok'delar isn't a legendary --> might be usable to transmog with !
(though they still might disable it specifically)
