I don't think Mikewin's post deserves the downgrade. WoW can be fun. Raiding, on the other hand, is a chore. I'm very much hoping the patch will fix that. I'm the leader of my guild and I have one of two choices if I want to progress in end-game. I can recruit for my level 6 guild (meaning I get a whole lot of level 5 noobs asking for gold and help with quests they can easily solo), or I can abandon my 6 year old guild and join a more progressive one...but I must know the fights that I can't possibly learn unless I do that. It's a no-win situation for many, many players. The Molten Front promised a lot and delivered very little. Yes, it keeps me busy on all my alts, but in the end I'm collecting Marks of the World Tree that have no value whatsoever unless I feel it's worth my time to grind out a few greens to disenchant. The tournament was ten times more valuable, if you ask me, because you could at least get pets and mounts. And Tol Barad is still more fun to play in than the Molten Front. I think what grayed out Mikewin was praying for was an opportunity to play WoW without having to sit in a city for three hours and hope to get into a raid that might, just might, allow him to run a raid that has a rare chance to offer him an award for his time. Yet I'm so addicted to running my dailies on my multitude of bored alts that I can't seem to find the time to join the fray of city dwellers. But to what end? I hope to god this raid finder is my answer.
