IIRC, last winter people were tin-foil-hatting about what the Deathwing encounter would be like. Someone, in a lengthy post, described a battle where the raid would fight on Deathwing's back while flying around Azeroth. I do not recall the article, but it would be interesting to dig up this post for a posthumous comparison. This person should speak up, because they nailed the prediction 100%.
