Brewfest 2011 runs from today until Oct. 5, so you have a lot of time to enjoy all the holiday has to offer. (For more on Brewfest, check out Alison's Guide to Brewfest 2011.) What are you planning on getting done in the next two weeks? Are you heading in to Blackrock Depths to take on Direbrew? Or is this just another boring, skippable in-game holiday?

I appreciate the reminder to play with the music turned off. Brewfest doesn't have any other impact on my gameplay.

I can't remember... can you disenchant the trinkets from Brewfest? This would be the first holiday where I have a max level enchanter where the question is relevant to me.

I am pretty sure that's no on the DE. No sale value either if I remember correctly.
For the ones I get that I don't want I keep them in my bank so they don't show up come loot time. You just get passed automatically.

I got Brewmaster and Brew of the Month last year, but never got that damned mount.
Lo and Behold, I went and did all the quests this year, and successfully defended Brewfest from one of the half-hourly attacks, then I queued up for Direbrew. On my Mage's first run, she got the treasure chest, and I popped it open and there was my damned Great Brewfest Kodo. I couldn't believe it! I finally got one! Now all that's left is to get a full set of regalia and I'm already halfway there! This is the best Brewfest ever!
(Gunis of Garrosh, case anyone doubts.)

I'm still trying to get those stupid mounts. I'm liking this new system though...now I don't lose the mount to someone else (usually a gigantic noob), I just either get it or I don't. I'm also saving up for the Keg Pony AND the Pony Keg...and I think I'm realizing that there probably won't be enough tokens to get both :/

I'm not particularly fond of Brewfest. I don't drink nor in-real nor in-game and I don't like this entire drinking culture. I might get around doing achievements purely for points, but more likely I will ignore this altogether like 3-4 previous times.
I will grind the boss a bit, though. I still don't have Kodo and I could probably use those trinkets, as I only do PvP and some PvE gear might come in useful someday.
