I don't know if Maiev even fought any orcs, since at the time of ashenvale she was still watching Illidan. Even in Black Temple you don't see her showing any sort of distain for the horde.
If anything the nuertal attitude that Malfurion has taken up for the Orcs invading could drive her to join the side with the best chance of overthrowing Mal and Tyande, so that she would be able to fully cleanse the Night elves, which feel like something Sylvanas seems to doing at the moment.
