New End Time dungeon screenshots released
Blizzard has updated its End Time post with some new screenshots. Check 'em out below!
The End Time will be the first of the three new 5-man dungeons coming in patch 4.3. Blizzard's previous announcement laid out the general story for the dungeon, as well as some excerpts from the Dungeon Journal.
The other new dungeons are the Hour of Twilight and the Well of Eternity. The new raid in patch 4.3, where you go up against Deathwing, is called the Dragon Soul.
Brace yourselves for what could be some of most exciting updates to the game recently with patch 4.3. Look at what's ahead: new item storage options, cross-realm raiding, cosmetic armor skinning and your chance to battle the mighty Deathwing -- from astride his back!

I love this dungeon so much. So very much.

Looks absolutely amazing, love the lore-based instances... the one with deathwing impaled on wyrmrest gave me shivers... really creepy :)

All three dungeons look spectacular. The story arc and the atmosphere...wow.
This could the The Greatest Patch In WoW History (bear in mind, I have an almost unhealthy enthusiasm for transmog). But all three dungeons look incredible and the raid has the potential to be amazing. So fluid...the raid almost feels closer to the style of a 10 or 25 person "group quest" rather than a linear set of static boss encounters.

The time has come to shatter this clockwork universe forever! Let us no longer be slaves of the hourglass!

I like how each of the faction leaders' twisted echoes are place in the appropriate dragonshrine.
Sylvanas in the Red for life/unlife.
Baine in the Black for anger and revenge.
Jaina in the Blue for magic.
Tyrande in the Green for the Emerald Dream.
I'm looking forward to it!

Also, I love the post-apocalyptic look of End Time. So fitting!

That brings up an interesting question. If they're locations are all static, how do we determine which path to take since only 2 will be up each time we run the dungeon? Looking forward to seeing what they have planned.

It's also in the colors that correspond to the elements - red/fire, black/earth, blue/air and green/water. Which will probably come into play when we do the Thrall escort quest dungeon.

Of course, I haven't been playing WoW all that long - WOTLK - but, I have to say that of the patches and the single expansion that I have been through, this one has me the most excited. Blizzard is really bringing some interesting new concepts to bear and I can't wait to dungeon crawl again!

I like this trend of ole Sylvy showing up in the last 5mans of each expansion

Die Hard Horde here! But I can't wait to fight Sylvannas

I wonder how much freedom we're going to have in exploring post-apocalyptic Dragonblight. After all, you could run all over Old Hillsbrad (right up to the conveniently-closed wall), which is part of what made that instance fun.
Anyway, I really need to start hustling on my heroics... O.O

I totally want to explore.
It will be cool if you can find the remains of Star's Rest or Wintergarde Keep.
I absolutely love getting to see this. It is the thing I wanted to see most after reading about it in the book.

"Hey, look, Dalaran's over there!"
"...destroyed *yet* again."
Grovinofdarkhour Sep 21st 2011 12:40PM
So, even if Deathwing were to succeed, Sylvanas would outlive him. Good to know.
(cutaia) Sep 21st 2011 12:41PM
Well, it's the "Echo of Sylvanas" so I'm not sure what that means exactly.
Shinae Sep 21st 2011 12:51PM
She's like a cockroach that way. ;)
But actually, she's only there in spirit, along with the spirit fragments of Baine, Tyrande and Jaina.

The Draenei taught him to fly.

And puking down the side.
That must have been one HELL of a bender!
