Raids don't really wanna take a rogue in with them, far too many other classes are better to have, however I'm hoping that the leadup quests are cool and we non raiders can get a 365 set of daggers for our work! (and experience a groovy rogue questline!)For all those rogues madly levelling now...you shouldn't hold your breath, I haven't been inside a SINGLE raid since cata dropped, and I cleared heroic ICC before that. Rogues just aren't in demand, and an established raiding group isn't going to kick someone for a rogue. That said, maybe SWTOR will cause some holes in raids and you can get in who knows?

they are obtainable from a soloable questline. not a raid.

Fortunately, our raid already has a rogue! The only class we lack is a shaman. Our rogue is a very good player, an absolute benefit to our raid. In the min-max area of the best guilds, I don't know how good rogues are, but in general they are just fine. It's literally more the player than the class, except at the highest levels.I still want to backstab him and take those daggers though. XD

There's no way legendary items are soloable! That said my congratulations to those rogues who are raiding, fantastic news and if I raided I would be ecstatic (one of the advantages of a raiding rogue is you get the gear easy...no competition!)However I as I understand it there is a series of quests that give daggers and they upgrade over and over again, until you get into the raid content. I hope they are viable and soloable (or 5 mannable) so that the scrubs can at least get involved.
@PrelimarThe legendary daggers will require killing bosses in the Dragon Soul raid, most likely Deathwing at the very least. There is going to be a very strong soloing component to the questline, which is a great idea, but you will NOT be able to get the daggers without actually raiding. It's possible you might be able to get the first set without raiding. We'll see when more info comes out.

Actually, our rogue has to fight with me (a hunter) and our feral druid over loot. The only thing he gets free is daggers. :)
