I agree completely that the challenge has been completely removed from Firelands, along with any real sense of accomplishment that could be gained. These nerfs are far too invasive and were implemented much too suddenly and too quickly. While my guild has yet to down Ragnaros on normal, we were very close, and I would have liked to have done it without handholding. I'm very frustrated that Blizzard took that challenge away.
