The Daily Quest: Lego the nerfbat
WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
So there I was, idly surfing around YouTube for some particularly cringe-worthy Nerf commercials from the 1980s when I saw the video above. It didn't take more than a half a second for the theme song to immediately lodge itself in my brain on repeat. I need it out of my brain, so I'm sharing it with all of you -- you can thank me later.
Now where were we? Oh that's right, Nerf -- or rather the recent nerfing of Firelands content. The blogosphere is buzzing about the topic, and I've found a few posts to share with you about it.
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

- Restokin shares a few thoughts on the 4.2 raid nerfs, looking at both sides of the extreme and everyone in between, too.
- Marks-365 goes over some of the biggest boss changes with the Firelands nerfs.
- Bubblespec looks at the changes from a raider's perspective and comes back feeling a little deflated.

I'd like to personally thank you for making me feel older than dirt.
I can remember seeing that on TV and humming it for hours while I built Lego buildings.
When does my Social Security check arrive? Is Matlock on yet? Why Is 2:30 PM too early for the early-bird special at supper? I'm getting the vapors, need to lay down on my davenport and relax.

That's catchy, but nowhere near the level of this classic.:

Zack is apparently a commie

Let me tell you a little something about Zack. He's a liar and a thief. He will steal your heart and piss on your grave right after he makes off with all your bendy pieces and turns My Little Pony against you.
True story.

Just imagine when kids of the 90's look back at commercials like this.
It looks bad now. It's a dose of looking-back-on-it-it's-so-wrong.

The "kids of the 90s" are not at all surprised by the concept--here's a couple thousand girls hoping to get a little something sprayed on them:

Wow, I totally remember that commercial. It was during that era that I always got one large LEGO set for Christmas each year, along with a few small Transformers (G1).
Ah, nostalgia.

Those commercials were easy to forget although Zack was catchy.
The following is the only song to be able to remove having the WalMart People stuck in your head. Listen with extreme caution.
