We have no idea where they will be available or when, but if I had to take an educated guess, I would think they are patch 4.3 Darkmoon Island rewards of some kind. Take a look at the screenshots in our gallery.

I agree, spectral mounts were cool when they were rare but now it seems like the WoW equivalent of the kid who just learned how to make star wipes in video editing software.

You can get sick of them all you want. I have exactly one "Spectral" mount and I think it's pretty awesome. What I am tired about is that the same people that bitch that Blizzard doesn't put anything good out are probably the same ones that bitch when they do put something good out. Sorry if you don't like it. /wave at me as I ride by on mine :)

I'm okay with one more spectral/sparkle mount. Something totally ridiculous that's a parody of itself. Someone mentioned hippo, so I assume hippogryph, but a flying spectral hippo would be a nice cap on the spectral line of mounts.

Dear Blizz, please make these purchasable at Exalted with DMF if indeed they are going to be faire-related. Don't make us grind tokens or darkmoon trinkety-dealies like you did with the Molten Front. Thankee.

Blizzard stated a few days ago that they won't touch the Darkmoon Rep, because everytime they mess with Insane in the Membrane, the community rages. So don't worry, it ain't happening.

If they're going to release more wyvern mounts, they should really update the model they have. Like, er, making the wing attached to the torso, for one thing.
I don't even think I'd be trying to acquire this one. I think I will go for the spectral gryphon if I ever get a high level Alliance though. I always loved the one you ride while dead.

Well, the official WoW Twitter account (@Warcraft) was tweeting about new mounts yesterday, culminating in:
"Sounds like folks are interested in seeing some new #Warcraft mounts, so we're determined to give you but a glimpse. Eyes peeled Saturday!"

Dear Blizzard,
Wyverns are really ugly. And 2010 called, they want their "spectrals" back.
Make new mounts, don't reskin old ugly ones. Give us hippo mounts or something different.
Or put TCG mounts available in game somehow.

It looks like it is a hybrid-reskin of the winged guardian. Either that or a new model. It doen't look to me like a reskin of the older models.
