The Queue: Lodur, Herald of the Elements

Looks like our good friend Joe Perez has finally made it big, if this card from the preview event for the WoW TCG Throne of the Tides expansion has anything to say about it. Congratulations, Joe. Seriously, you even got Jonboy Meyers as your artist.
Lastgaurdian asked:
Has WoWinsider ever considered reaching out to role-play servers a bit? I find that Know Your Lore and All The World's a Stage is quite helpful for knowledge, but I feel that some communities and guilds therein could use a lot of help and WoWinsider is a strong enough force to do that.
Well, roleplaying is the task of the roleplayer, and our RP column is pretty much all we can do to "reach out" to roleplayers. AtWaS covers a lot of ground; I don't really feel like it's lacking for much in terms of content. The rest is up to you.
FireMaster asked:
Do you think there's any indication that Rexxar will have a major role in the future or do you think his story is over?
There's been no indication of anything regarding Rexxar at all lately, much less that his story is over.
Quaza asked:
Why does every column start with a picture or banner of some sort?
So there's some visual differentiation in between articles when viewing our blog roll.
Ylinae asked:
Do you think there's any chance, what with transmogrification allowing greater visual customization, that druids will see an option to reclaim their old, permanent tree form?
If you mean "will Blizzard let me be a treant permanently," then no, I don't think that'll happen. The glyph that lets you be the old, ugly treant for as long as Tree of Life Form is active is probably as close as you're going to get.
MusedMoose asked:
Do you think BioWare's announcement that SW: TOR will be released on December 20th will have any effect on when we see patch 4.3?
I think 4.3 will be released when it's done; I'm not really sure that Blizzard can afford to hold out until December, even in the face of SWTOR. I think we're looking at a November-something-th release date -- not before BlizzCon, not during BlizzCon, but shortly after.

Hate to bring you guys this news, but your unofficial mascot has gone to the dark side... or, in this case, the pastel side.

Yep, that's John De Lancie, otherwise known as Star Trek's "Q," terrorizing ponies instead of a lone, chrome-headed captain. On the plus side, he's still trolling. Probably in his blood. =P

Q4tQ: has blizz ever thought about consolidating servers? some just suck in terms of the H:A ratio, general population, guilds, etc. have they ever considered merging a lower-pop server with another low-pop server, while still maintaining guilds, etc? this would open up low-pop servers to more players, and possibly make everything more fun for everyone (i am on BWL, which is a terrible server; 90%H/10%A, low-pop all-around, which isn't the most fun gaming experience)

Forgive me if this has been addressed before, but my question is on the usefulness of resilience gear in a PvE setting. I'm not talking full sets or anything, but 1-2, maybe 4, pieces.

Any idea what will happen if you are trying to use a transmogrified
item as source for a new transmowhatever? For example, if you want to
make your pvp gear look like pve and vice versa.

are there any ilvl 300 + polearms in game right now with strength ? tbh i think that it is nice for retribution paladins and arms warriors to wield them, visually at least, eventhough swords have either agility and strength, polearms have only agility these days.

yeah, if was was Blizzard, I'd have committed suicide by now. It's always the same thing: The majority of players shouts out to get something until they get it. When Blizzard implements it, the majority of players will cry that it sucks and they want it changed and when it's changed, they will cry again and claim that Blizzard never listens to them.
In short: The average WoW player appears to be a particularly bitchy teenage girl with hormone instability.
In a related note, did you know how the IQ of a group is calaculated?
It's simple: You take the IQ of the dumbest individual and divide it by the number of group members. So for WoW it would be something like 40 / 10,000,000 = 0,000004.
So no matter how smart you are, if you stop playing WoW, you would make the player base appear smarter...

Oddly arbitrary formula you have there. But then, what you are agitating for is "stop doing any social activity whatsoever". Like commenting on a blog, for instance.

precisely, the rule is valid for comments as well: The more there are, the dumber they tend to be.

The card doesn't mention strength gems :/
