I gave things a fair shot but the relationship had to end."To be fair, you never really know someone's health habits until you really get to know them for a while. So this can easily happen whether you met online, at a coffee shop, at a concert, in school...The point is I don't think it's fair to label things as cautionary solely based on the manner of how people meet. The only time I think it's fair to criticize online dating is when it's a skeevy dude trying to get with a very young person, because that is how it's easiest for those guys to get access to those youths. For normal, adult relations, in my experience meeting someone online is no different than if you had met them in real life first.
