nope, you're not alone. By now I start to think most of us have these "potential significant others" from the past. Some time ago I met this girl that I really liked 10 years ago but I never dared to tell her because I really did have no trace of self esteem at that time and I was sure she would not be interested because she was very popular and most guys had a crush on her. So when we met again I told her that I had feelings for her in school and she said "Dammit, why didn't you tell me back then? I really liked you!"I learned a darn lot that day: Being rejected can be extremely painful, but it's still better than not even trying. And never think that you don't have a chance.
