Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one on my server who actually *enjoys* farming Savage Leather and Blackened Dragonscales... here's wishing you all many wonderful new pants drops in 4.3! ^_^

(perhaps "legs drops" would sound more appropriate... but hey, if they didn't want you /mooning Deathwing then surely they wouldn't have put that emote in the game to begin with...)

Ahhh...Blackened Dragonscale :) I'm starting to think I'm the only source on my server. I stumbled across it in the AH selling 2 at a time for ridiculously high prices. Rather than flood with stacks and undercut I started rationing some out of my bank stock. Supplement it with Savage Leather and you've got a never-ending flow of gold.
Should I be leveling LW? Yeah, probably. But after a quick trip to the mailbox to open my AH mail, I find I like the gold better.

On my server, Savage Leather goes for ~100g a stack, Blackened Dragonscale for ~200g a stack, and Dragonscale Leg Armor for ~1500 each.

So I can sell five stacks of leather for 500g and two stacks of scales for 400g, making a tidy 900g for less than an hour's worth of farming... or I can turn those five stacks of leather into a stack of heavy leather, trade that stack in for two Pristine Hide, make two Dragonscale Leg Armor and pocket 3k.

... personally I'd recommend finishing off that LW of yours. Assuming your server's economy is anything like mine, of couse. :D
