In any case, the new tier is here, and it's certainly interesting. Priest tier 13, Dying Light, is loaded with some pretty unusual masks that invoke memories of the creepy-cool tier 6. After looking at it for the last few minutes, I can confirm that I will have terrible nightmares tonight involving that mask. Soulless and terrifying. Which, I guess, means they got the design just right.
Hunters are getting Wyrmstalker, a cool-looking, Frostwyrm-inspired set. Remember that scene in The Empire Strikes Back where Luke crawls into the dead Blue Dragon for warmth? And remember how he stayed in there way too long, until it decayed into naught but bone? And then how he wore the dragon's corpse when he went off to fight Deathwing? Remember that? That's what you get, hunters.

not gonna lie, that priest set has got to be one of the better tier sets the designers have ever put together. like... EVAR (imo, obviously)
makes me want to re-up my sub and raid again :D

This Tier has been either super OMG awesome or holy crap what the hell is that? O.o;;
No middle ground.
So far I have hated every bit of DK tier gear this expansion. I'm hoping for super OMG awesome this time though.

The priest set looks a lot like V for Vendetta mixed with The king of hearts and is just badass. The hunter set from the perspective of being a hunter, does not make me desire it enough to raid. Hunters need to be dressed in lighter looking gear than a paladin.

I can't quite recognise why but the priest tier really reminds me of a Doctor Who villain of some kind.

Funny, I was thinking that it reminded me of a villain of some sort, too... Except, for me, it was from the Justice League cartoons of the early to mid 2000s. I think it was the DC rendition of Morgan Le Fay who had a mask that looked very very much like it.
