In any case, the new tier is here, and it's certainly interesting. Priest tier 13, Dying Light, is loaded with some pretty unusual masks that invoke memories of the creepy-cool tier 6. After looking at it for the last few minutes, I can confirm that I will have terrible nightmares tonight involving that mask. Soulless and terrifying. Which, I guess, means they got the design just right.
Hunters are getting Wyrmstalker, a cool-looking, Frostwyrm-inspired set. Remember that scene in The Empire Strikes Back where Luke crawls into the dead Blue Dragon for warmth? And remember how he stayed in there way too long, until it decayed into naught but bone? And then how he wore the dragon's corpse when he went off to fight Deathwing? Remember that? That's what you get, hunters.

Can't say I'm on board with the love for that priest set. Looks like I'll be spending a good chunk of cash on following through with my transmogrification plans.
Of course, it could be better when I see it on my character model. I'll wait until I can see it in the 3D model viewer before I get too unhappy with it.

I'm with SmokeTheBear, tbh. I guess it's alright, but it doesn't wow me at all the way T8 or T6 did.
I guess my opinion is largely irrelevant though, since my Priest is only level 60 and serving as a bank alt.

Priests have so many amazing choices that it is hard to go wrong with any tier.

Even though I play a female priest...my only thing is the facial hair on the mask... other than that

Considering that armor often looks different on female models (such as ones with bare bellies), I'm sure that there will be a version of the mask without the facial hair.

Kudos to Blizzard for making the priest set's name a reference to such an excellent poem. ^_^ The set looks very cool as well, might have to get this one eventually.
And I'm thrilled about the hunter set. Anything that looks like "Yes, I killed it, and now I'm wearing it" is good with me.

I'm with you, Moose. I quite like the hunter set. Priest is pretty cool, but I like hunter better. The creepy mask is...creepy, but I much prefer the glowy skull eyes of a frostwyrm.
Also: Human male model still sucks.

I like the whole creepy carnival thing going on with the Priest set, but I'm not really thrilled about my female belf being a Bearded Lady. :\

Your mention of the "creepy carnival" reminded me of the Darkmoon Faire being revamped. And that combined with the mention of the new priest set gave me a mental image of being at the Darkmoon Faire, looking out into the dark, spooky woods, and having THAT thing looking back.
... And now I want to get that priest gear and lurk around in the woods near the Darkmoon Faire....

The female models (and some races such as Worgen/Tauren/etc have the bottom half of the mask missing, you can see the 3D models on races over at WoWhead.

I was just thinking to myself that other than tier 6, preist tiers have been rather boring compared to warlock and mage tiers. I'm happy to see something that really pops for preists.

Left version: Decent colour scheme...ok, I could probably wear that. But it's almost certainly the heroic version.
