In any case, the new tier is here, and it's certainly interesting. Priest tier 13, Dying Light, is loaded with some pretty unusual masks that invoke memories of the creepy-cool tier 6. After looking at it for the last few minutes, I can confirm that I will have terrible nightmares tonight involving that mask. Soulless and terrifying. Which, I guess, means they got the design just right.
Hunters are getting Wyrmstalker, a cool-looking, Frostwyrm-inspired set. Remember that scene in The Empire Strikes Back where Luke crawls into the dead Blue Dragon for warmth? And remember how he stayed in there way too long, until it decayed into naught but bone? And then how he wore the dragon's corpse when he went off to fight Deathwing? Remember that? That's what you get, hunters.

The name makes the tier for the priests. I totally thought it was supposed to be a sunrise motif as that's much more common with a sun on the horizon, but the Dying Light totally makes that an ominous sunset; just knowing the name seems to emphasize the stripes differently. Add the macabre carnival masks, the tears (or blood) streaming from the eyes, the black void of the eyes (the opposite of all the glowing orbs normally seen in the head pieces) and the sharp severity of the crowns on the head and I don't get so much a priest tier set, but an AWESOME tier set. I just feel they lack the same level of detail as the other sets of gear, but that might just be a consequence of the datamining process.

Priest: NICE. I bet it will look nice in shadow form.
Reminds me of eyes wide shut, you know, a sinister look to the venetian carnival.
And I like the gold toned one the best. Here's hoping thats the easiest to get!

I think I'm the only person who feels this way. While I totally called another "stalker" name for the hunter set, I have to say I'm overwhelmed by a sense of indifference. It's rare that I don't like the looks of a hunter set, and often say how we have the best looking sets. But compared to all of the other classes' sets this tier, Druids, aside, this one makes me go "meh". I'm madly in love with the Mage's steampunk look, the Priest is crazy creepy cool, and even though the Rogue's isn't that interesting, it's at least Batman and has the awesome wings to compliment it. This looks like everything else we've seen this expansion. I swear the gloves, boots, and pants must be rehashes of old gear. But then again, they haven't done an official reveal yest, so maybe they're still a work in progress?

Some people look at the hunter armor and say 'Iron man!' I look at it and say 'No way my troll is gonna be able to draw his bow without stabbing himself in the head, again.' Thank god for transmogrification, because at least on a human, that armor looks busy, cluttered and disorganized.

Well as a long time priest of 5+ years all spent raiding I'm going to say with complete honesty that this armor Tier is crap.
I haven't played since the beginning of Fire Lands Raids and I told myself that if the priest Tier armor was decent I would come back just to collect it, but that is not going to happen.
If I was even still playing this game I would of just Transmogrified or what ever you call it and turned it into Transcendence graphic or the Avatar Set, possibly even my old Absolution Set if I wanted faces on my shoulders hell even my Scuba Suit I'm wearing now would be more visually appealing then this.
It honestly reminds me of the Statue of Liberty.

From now on, I demand every priest set has some sort of beard or mustache incorporated incorporated into it.
You may disagree with this but only to the extent that you are arguing for a emphasis on neat, stylish beards or oversized dwarfish it guy beards.

The priest gear is AMAZING. It reminds of the destructo-devices in Hallsx2 and Uldum.
And the hunter stuff - I don't hate it. Warriors get live Deathwing, we get dead Deathwing.
