In any case, the new tier is here, and it's certainly interesting. Priest tier 13, Dying Light, is loaded with some pretty unusual masks that invoke memories of the creepy-cool tier 6. After looking at it for the last few minutes, I can confirm that I will have terrible nightmares tonight involving that mask. Soulless and terrifying. Which, I guess, means they got the design just right.
Hunters are getting Wyrmstalker, a cool-looking, Frostwyrm-inspired set. Remember that scene in The Empire Strikes Back where Luke crawls into the dead Blue Dragon for warmth? And remember how he stayed in there way too long, until it decayed into naught but bone? And then how he wore the dragon's corpse when he went off to fight Deathwing? Remember that? That's what you get, hunters.

How the heck is the Priest tier going to fit on anything other then Human and Elf? It looks pretty spiffy assuming your a human male character, but where does our muzzles, tentacles, and tusks go? Plus who thought a goatee was a good idea? I hope the female model is different.

Wow, I'm so glad! This priest set is amazing! I have to make time to raid just so I can get this.
Just... awesome. Definitely like it in gold and blue the best. The purple set is kinda meh, but it's still great.

The hunter tier is much more suited for a DK IMO but the Priest set....WOW! I love it!!!

That's us thinking about our horrid holy and mediorce if not bad disc, set bonus's are and how we need to put on offset pieces to raid.

So, if a Priest wearing the Tier 13 Helm somehow manages to wield the Arcanite Ripper, does that make them Buckethead?
(Yes I know Priests can't wield axes)

I'm actually not crazy about the priest tier. I prefer to have my main wear nothing to hide his face and white mane, so unfortunately this doesn't work for that.
I guess it'll be cool to wear for the duration of patch 4.3, but I probably won't Transmogrify back to it later on.

Does anyone else see a startling decline in texture quality from priest to hunter? Not just the glove glitch, but the torso and legs look terrible, and even the shoulders look like they were toned down to low quality. Meanwhile, the priest armor has highlighting for the ridges and imperfections of the shoulders and details the folds of the robes. Meanwhile, the only good looking part of the hunter set is the ridiculously looking helmet.
Overall, I'm not thrilled with the hunter set, but as long as the quality improves, I'm not really upset about it. Maybe a bit disappointed, it's not particularly original (a concern I have about the "kill it wear it" theme of hunter sets in general) but it's better than t11 and most wrath sets. I'd just like to see some more original hunter sets, like how the mage set took a huge (and in my mind, fantastic) departure from its normal set. Plus, I could see my dwarf hunter looking badass in steampunk with an old ulduar rifle. In general, I'd like to see dwarfs move away from the "kill it wear it" theme because we already killed dragons, unless we get some kind of "god-killer" set I don't really know where this will go. Plus, there are other aspects of hunters we can highlight.

I am not impressed with the Priest set. It looks like it has a low poly count and low quality textures. The basic design is also plain. Priests have had faces on their shoulders before (absolution armor) so we know what kind of quality they can pull off and this just falls short.
Reading the other posts made me feel like i was taking crazy pills. The "idea" is good but the delivery is lacking.
Hopefully the help and shoulders become less bland and more polished before its released.

I agree completely. The coloring, if you can call it that, is so dull. I HATE the shoulders - they are too big and bulky. The set doesn't even look like CLOTH to me. I'm just not impressed.
