Do not be alarmed -- these aren't really happening.
What you're seeing in the datamined files are tooltip updates. Steady Shot and Cobra Shot have always been 2-second casts. They are right now. Aimed Shot is indeed currently a 2.9-second base cast. And Chimera Shot does indeed do nature damage already. These are not changes to hunter abilities, but just the files finally catching up to report correctly on the way it's always been. Also the Kill Shot change is also a tooltip update rather than a buff.
The only change so far is the increased attack power for melee folks from our Trueshot Aura buff, as well as from all the other classes that provide it -- oh, and the addition of a nice endgame raiding gun, at long last. Assuming it doesn't later turn into a crossbow or daggers or something.

Who are you comparing yourself to? Legendary-wielding mages? People who go up in the air on Alysrazor? Melee on Domo heroic? I personally have noticed that hunter DPS is more than fine when outside factors do not skew the results in favour of certain classes/specs.

Which is what I think the OP meant. We're not too high, and we're not too low. If Ghostcrawler thinks we're a bit high, however, there's a good chance that our nice middle section might go down a few notches.

Shows MM hunters doing pretty well in endgame PvE; not topping the charts, but respectable.
SV and especially BM are starting to fall back. But I suspect that this late in the expansion cycle, Blizzard has their plate full with the next expansion and is going to give up on keeping all 3 specs tightly grouped in DPS output.

Could someone link some numbers? I saw a page that had summarized data from all FL bosses, can't find that page again... (None of them had hunter class as #1 while most had priest as #1.)

I would like the "Horrific" name to stay, personally. Id love to wield a Horrifc Gun and use it to blow up stuff.
I think the tier set looks badass, personally. It just looks terrible modeled on a male human. EVERY set looks terrible on a male human. Even Judgment doesn't look its best on a male human.

I always wait a bit after a data mining 'dump'. Place holders, temporary settings, chunks, bits and bobs are what hits first. Eventually we get the real scoop. Kind of like thinking you've stumbled over a dead body only to get the cops out for a mannequin someone was using to make a student project film.

The real problem with the tier is that it just seems so unoriginal compared to the other T13 sets. It seems like a leftover from wrath :(

I can't help but feel that the tier set has an undead dragon look that wouldn't have looked out of place in Wrath, but does for Cataclysm.

I really liked the look of the Ahn'Kahar set. But I don't understand why a Hunter has to look like a Pally or Warrior. Call me crazy, but shouldn't a hunter look a bit more sleek and stealthy? Not entirely rogue but a lot less clunky knight-like. I dunno :( Not happy about the set. I think it's pretty ugly. Horrific Hunter armor right along with the horrific gun but for different reasons.

That set is fugly.....
fugly fugly fugly.... Sorry Blizz, the priest one is cool, the mage is decent, shaman is awesome, warriors looks like a warriors....
Hunter's? sucks ass. looks like...hell I don't know, but I'd rather have a dead murloc on my head.
Why not something Robin Hood'esque? Or Daniel Boone'ish?
