Should we be alarmed that GC said our dps may be a little high? The raid parses don't agree.

Who are you comparing yourself to? Legendary-wielding mages? People who go up in the air on Alysrazor? Melee on Domo heroic? I personally have noticed that hunter DPS is more than fine when outside factors do not skew the results in favour of certain classes/specs.

Which is what I think the OP meant. We're not too high, and we're not too low. If Ghostcrawler thinks we're a bit high, however, there's a good chance that our nice middle section might go down a few notches.

Rather than arguing about anecdotes, Euripides just did a "State of Hunter DPS" blog post:http://outdps.com/2011/09/25/a-quick-state-of-hunter-dps/Shows MM hunters doing pretty well in endgame PvE; not topping the charts, but respectable.SV and especially BM are starting to fall back. But I suspect that this late in the expansion cycle, Blizzard has their plate full with the next expansion and is going to give up on keeping all 3 specs tightly grouped in DPS output.

Could someone link some numbers? I saw a page that had summarized data from all FL bosses, can't find that page again... (None of them had hunter class as #1 while most had priest as #1.)
