The Queue: ATHF Insider

Lots of people are asking now if we're going to do a Star Wars: The Old Republic Insider.
The answer is no.
Joystiq.AOL.HuffingPost.CompuServe.tv is launching Aqua Teen Hunger Force Insider tomorrow. That'll be what what we ride with for the next six years.
Daelock asked:
Affliction or destruction?
Affliction. It's what EJ says and it's what my personal experience says as well. Destro is a little more comfortable for me personally (I find it all easier to keep track of), but Aff does give you a bump in DPS. Use it, abuse it, and go DOT some face off.
Vegetto375 asked:
Is there any realition between lore and lvl's? For instance is the LK stronger then C'thun and weaker than Deathwing cause of the raids lvl or are lvl's purely for game mechanics. If sot realated how so the citizens of Azeroth determing one foe stronger/more dangerous than the other?
None. Lore/"Azeroth threat" is independent from creature levels, for the most part. For instance, Archimonde? C'Thun? Probably the baddest foes we've faced lore-wise in my opinion, but not the highest level or hardest to defeat by any means (anymore).
Chaosdefined asked:
What is the likeliness of Blizz ever properly separating PVP Talents from PVE talents?
My personal opinion is that Blizzard should do it. But Blizzard has said this is not something it's going to do. Of course, Blizzard's said that about a lot of things lately that've come true... so who knows?
Bellajtok asked:
Does Blizzard even need to preview Blizzcon at all? It seems like the fans already know everything they're going to talk about.
We, the more connected fans know all about it. But there's a large portion of the 11-some-odd million people playing who don't know about it or don't know everything they could about it. Blizzard is doing it in part for their benefit.
The other part of Blizzard's promotional pushes is to attract players outside of its games; believe it or not, there are still at least five or seven people who haven't played WoW, StarCraft, or Diablo. Blizzard's PR department's singular responsibility is to find these people and hand them the Kool-Aid.
Oh yeah!
Edymnion asked:
When is Orgrimmar (and I guess that Stormwind place too) going to be finished rebuilding? Will we finally get to see it without the cranes and scaffolding when 4.3 hits, or do we have to wait until the next expansion?
It took the Alliance five years to build a f!@#ing bridge; I doubt they're going to fix Stormwind until the next decade.
Dzdj asked:
Who is your daddy and what does he do?

Is Meatwad the most awesome character ever?
Do you even have to ask? Of course he is.
Vacasta asked:
When do we get a glimpse of SWTOR Insider? Or do we use Massively for that?
We get this about every MMORPG that gets released, and the answer is still "no plans."

Why is C'thun more powerful than Yogg-Saron? Aren't all the Old Gods more or less on an equal footing? Or were you just throwing him out there as an example?
Nina Katarina Sep 27th 2011 11:06AM
Haven't you ever heard the expression, "your eyes are bigger than your stomach"? True for the Old Gods as well.
Bellajtok Sep 27th 2011 11:29AM
To give a much less funny lore reason, it's because C'Thun has a lot more freedom than old Yoggy. While Yogg was trapped in Ulduar, guarded by Titanic constructs who were being sure to keep him weak, C'Thun has been relatively free in Ahn'Qiraj, aided by the Qiraji, for at least 10,000 years. (I think. Is that the right number?) It's only recently that the gates have opened, but he's been gaining power inside them for much longer than that. Yogg has had control of Ulduar for a much shorter time, and he wasn't nearly as free to regain strength as C'Thun was.

You went from Bird Bath Shoulders to Toilet Seat Helm. Do you REALLY want to see what's next?
Seems kinda risky, to me.
bryanjdawson Sep 27th 2011 11:49AM
I just asked Blizzard, they replied "when it's ready"

You know, I've been clawing at my screen about Death Knight and Hunter tier sets so hard to notice that priests haven't been announced yet.

With 9 Legendary weapons (or pairs) now in the game, some classes or specs have received multiple Legendaries (warriors, rogues, casters), but some have received none. Which classes, or more specifically, which specs do you think deserve some Legendary attention? Why them, and what would you want for them?
Jamie Sep 27th 2011 11:09AM
Mine. Quite clearly, the day we get Gnome Protection Warrior only legendary is the day World of Warcraft will start making sense.
Oh and "inb4" World of Gnomecraft videos. Mwhahaahaahaha...
llcjay2003 Sep 27th 2011 11:13AM
The only role that has not received one would be tank. That would be extremely difficult to do because of those pesky DKs. A shield or 1-h would leave them out. Which would potentially eliminate DKs from hard-core progression guilds for tanking.
Maybe if they did something a little different and did a legendary armor set. I dunno, just throwing ideas out there.
