Another great show guys.

Listening now. Cant wait to hear what Rossi rants about this week!
Shinae Sep 27th 2011 3:31PM
I enjoy his rants, too, because they're so agreeable to me. This one is about resist gear. It makes me glad that I didn't have to deal with resist fights, with the exception of Sapphiron and Hodir (when they were brand-new content).

I feel like the full podcast wasn't uploaded

Sacco likes TV on the Radio? Your hair is no longer the only thing I love about you Sacco.

Great show, guys! Thanks for answering my question! (Zandt from Galakrond) I assumed as much that Blizz would be done adding class/race combinations and don't get me wrong I'd much rather see a new class implemented, but I had wanted to play a Tauren Rogue since day 1. I remember reading the manual after just getting the game on launch day and thinking I knew exactly what character I wanted: a Tauren Rogue. Upon loading the game (and much to my dismay) taurens could not be rogues. What a shame. Maybe some day....

Where was the healer set bonus discussion? Totally skipped. :(
xvkarbear Sep 27th 2011 3:17PM
They tend to skip healing stuff in general. I suspect it's because none of them are really healers.
Shinae Sep 27th 2011 3:57PM
They did not talk a lot about the T13 set bonuses, but that probably would have taken quite a bit of time to review them all. Each class set is getting an in-depth discussion in articles on this site. Stay tuned if your class hadn't been covered yet.

So far:

Shaman

Shinae: I was hoping they were going to cover the healing bonuses as I, and most of the non-Discipline priest community, disagree with Dawn Moore the Priest columnist on the subject. A fresh prospective would have been nice.
Devo_AS Sep 27th 2011 1:25PM
Did I miss the discussion on the new Shaman set (since last week was not a full show) or did they skip over it and go right to Paladin/Rogue

In regards to class race combinations, I think gnome Druids would be awesome. Instead of shapesifting they could use mechanical suits that can shift into different forms, almost like a transformer. This would be hilarious and still fit with the gnome aesthetics.

I just listened to this, and between:
- the attempt at black humour in the introduction (insulting all the other hosts bar Rossi);
- throwing a tantrum because McCurley was talking at the same time while he was starting to tell '[his] story';
- the scathing and patronising manner in which he spoke to his co-hosts last week;
...I have to conclude that Sacco is a petty and unsavoury human being.
Does McCurley threaten you, Sacco, because his comments are more interesting, manner more engaging and articles more successful? So you have to demean him and 'pull rank' when you get airspace?
Take a good look at yourself, mate.

In that long, loooong discussion about the warrior tank death issue I can't believe that gearing was never brought up. It seems basic, but that's maybe why it's been overlooked by the guild, and now by the podcast. If he's stam stacking, i.e. gemming for pure stam, he's going to be a lot harder to heal, leading to some deaths that shouldn't be happening otherwise.
I was actually healing a tank on my alt and he was really hard to heal. Finally I looked at his gear and I was like "wow, are you stam stacking? You shouldn't be doing that." So he went back to SW and regemmed and I swear to god I could feel the difference on the very next pull. This was in BWD, so I don't even want to know what Firelands would do to a stam stacking tank.
