Sure, I'm up for that.
Nina Katarina Sep 27th 2011 7:26AM
Personally, I'm peeved that they didn't give us the chance to kill one of the really annoying Alliance leaders. Jaina is meh. Tyrande has been useless since the end of Warcraft III. And Baine, he's cool, I can't see myself ever looking forward to killing him.
Hopefully the story will be well enough executed in the dungeon itself to stir up a bit more motivation.

Baine and Jaina surprised me, but I can kind of see Tyrande. She did kill those Wardens, after all.

The only reason I can think that Varian isn't in there, is because he would have been one of the first leaders to fall. I mean come on, he would have been out in the field just taking everyone on, and just get overwhelmed after a time. (I really wish he still had 2 swords.)
I'll be honest though, I think it would have been kind of cool to end up fighting Anduin instead. But it seems like there are already a few too many priest bosses in cata.
StClair Sep 27th 2011 11:56AM
People would be lined up to kill Varian and/or Garrosh. It'd be like Gamon all over again.
StClair Sep 27th 2011 11:58AM
(pushed edit TOO SOON, EXECUTUS!)
And at least half the people in line for each would be same-faction, of course.
Luke Sep 27th 2011 7:44AM
I look forward to stabbing Sylvanas... but probably not in the way you're thinking.
MusedMoose Sep 27th 2011 7:58AM
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's hard to stab someone with a hammer.
...wait, what?
Kurash Sep 27th 2011 12:29PM
Is that a Captain Hammer reference, Mused? Don't make me repeat that line. :)
Darkthunder Sep 27th 2011 7:44AM
Would've been cool to fight King Varian in the twisted Deathwing future.
Luvaria Sep 27th 2011 7:57AM
Awwww but Sylvanas is my favorite character, don't kill her!
Revynn Sep 27th 2011 1:34PM
Sylvanas rocks, no doubt about that. I take solace in the fact that we're not really killing her, by an Echo of her. Sort of like a fragmented memory that we're putting out of it's misery.
This I will do in service to the Dark Lady.

Ooh, this might be a doctor who reference.
"We've got a time machine, what the hell, let's kill Hitler."
So here we have time travel to go and kill a warmongering genocidal ruler who is so worshipped in his/her own way that his/her people use him/her as a form of greeting.
Daniel Whitcomb Sep 27th 2011 10:53AM
I may have been thinking of that when I chose the title.
Dude Sep 27th 2011 8:50AM
After what happened in Southshore and the surrounding zones I feel the forces of the world will soon leave no place for Sylvanas and those who follow her beliefs...
Calicia Sep 27th 2011 8:50AM
On the rogue legendary weapons pulling a Red Bull, it appears that the wings are only cosmetic.

Unless my high school Spanish is failing me.
Edymnion Sep 27th 2011 9:14AM
I ran it through google translate as well just to make sure, and you are correct. The blue did indeed say the wings are only cosmetic.
Amaxe Sep 27th 2011 8:56AM
Hmm, it's probably a sign of my warped mind, that the first thought that came into my head when I saw the title was the Dead Kennedys, "Let's Lynch the Landlord"

(Not enough coffee to think of a WoW based parody, sorry)

SURE! When can we leave???
Anaughtybear Sep 27th 2011 2:48PM
The only good elf is a dead elf, so Sylvanas is all right by me. Plus, she's my racial leader and stands up to bullies like Garrosh. The only thing I didn't care for was her over-the-top RP voice in some instances. It drove me insane how she said "Rrlllllllliiiich King" in Pit of Saron. But then, most of the voice talent in WoW is awful, so it's not that much of a complaint.
