Orgrim Doomhammer. Friend to Durotan, the first orcs ever to form a friendship that bridged clans. Second in command of the Blackrock Clan, devoted to the Horde but recoiled at the power offered by Gul'dan and the warlocks. Taking the mantle of Warchief from Blackhand when he believed that the former chief was no longer fit to rule the Orc race. He took the war to the Alliance of Lordaeron. Not because he had bloodlust to be sated, but to provide space for all of his people to escape their dying world. Went out of his way to recruit Zul'jin and the Amani into te Horde. Turned the Horde's strength away from Lordaeron to punish Gul'dan for his treachery. That move may have caused the beginning of the Horde's defeat, but Doomhammer always believed that if the Horde lost it's honor, then it lost everything. Retreating to Blackrock Mountain and being defeated there, Doomhammer still hoped and planned to free his people and find a place for them on Azeroth. Up until his death at Hammerfall, it was still HIS Horde, with Thrall as his second. Doomhammer charged Thrall with continuing his plans. Free their people and create a home for them all.

Doomhammer is, in my mind, the most influential Orc. Who else could claim to work as hard as he to bringing the Orcish race back from the brink of destruction? He may be dead, but his work continues. Thrall, Garrosh. In their own ways they carry on Doomhammer's legacy. The prophecy ofthe Doomhammer line was fulfilled, he was their salvation. Lok'tar ogar Orgrim Doomhammer! Every honorable victory, every honorable defeat, is testament to your belief in the Orc race.
