Stalwart dataminers over at the
Scrolls of Lore forums have put together images of the new dungeon gear sets coming in
patch 4.3. These sets are not true sets in that they have bonuses, but the gear from the new
Hour of Twilight 5-man dungeons will each have a cohesive aesthetic look to them. Check out the images of these new dungeon sets in our gallery; thanks to poster handclaw for these awesome shots.
The cloth set currently does not have shoulders showing because of a bug where the right and left shoulders are swapped on the palette. We will update the gallery with a new shot plus shoulders when we get our hands on it. Until then, enjoy.
Brace yourselves for what could be some of most exciting updates to the game recently with patch 4.3. Review the official patch notes, and then dig into what's ahead: new item storage options, cross-realm raiding, cosmetic armor skinning and your chance to battle the mighty Deathwing -- from astride his back!

Not so sure about cloth and leather, but mail is alright, and plate is SICK!
Doesn't compete with that new Pally PvP set though.
MusedMoose Sep 28th 2011 7:20PM
I feel pretty much the same way. Nothing too special about the cloth and leather, but the mail really suits hunters, and that plate set is just plain awesome.
facepalmer2 Sep 28th 2011 5:58PM
The plate looks good, but the cloth is hideous!
Caz Sep 28th 2011 6:06PM
I agree. I was hoping for something that was a look-a-like or homage to Benedictius' gear in the new dungeon. This is...not so great visually, but THANK GOODNESS I can transmogrify it.
nieboh Sep 28th 2011 6:22PM
Yeah, the cloth is hideous but with transmogrify available it won't really matter much.
droknar Sep 28th 2011 6:39PM
Note the cloth set image currently doesn't have its shoulders. That could honestly make or break the set.
StClair Sep 29th 2011 2:00AM
Makes me want to start singing "King Tut".
Possum Sep 29th 2011 8:35AM
Bwahahaha at the cloth one! On man I need that.
bethontheharbor Sep 28th 2011 5:58PM
My first thought on seeing the leather set in pic #2 was Merman from Masters of the Universe.. You read it! now you can't unread it!
Swifteye Sep 28th 2011 5:58PM
Rhinocelope shoulders! Want!!
shatto.a Sep 28th 2011 6:13PM
I think those are supposed to be dragons, but I like the cut of your jib.
chuparex Sep 28th 2011 10:01PM
This is relevant to the jib in question: http://www.jgg.se/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=1&pid=2452#top_display_media

Gotta say, in contrast to new tiers and pvp sets...this is utter crap o.o
Even compared to 4.0 "dungeon sets" these are pathetic. I'm not one to usually criticise armour sets in WoW, I really can't understand how people can complain about tier 13 looks, but these look really bad. Like something you pick up from RFD.
Chrior Sep 28th 2011 6:03PM
Okay, I just had a hangover from the awesomeness that was paladin S11, maybe mail and plate don't look that bad...after you put them on a non-human (yeah, I'm an anti-human racist >:)
VioletArrows Sep 28th 2011 6:03PM
Oh yay. More mud brown mail.
Homeschool Sep 28th 2011 6:05PM
I hope they keep up with the unpaired dungeon sets. It's a great offering to those who don't raid.
Balgus Sep 28th 2011 6:11PM
They forgot the belt on the plate set. You can see it in the ptr as well.
sporkwind Sep 28th 2011 6:13PM
Now that people can transmog who cares how much brown we use!!!
Total cop out on the leather armor. Yuck.
Edymnion Nov 18th 2011 4:21PM
Um, its leather. Leather is brown. Its frankly nice to see leather that is the color of leather.
Snuzzle Sep 28th 2011 6:19PM
That leather set just looks like typical green Cata/Wrath leather. Ugh. Thank god for mogging.
