It could be that I'm very atypical, but most of what I'm accumulating (and it's been a boom recently, since they announced transmog) is for transmogging. There isn't a lot of items I feel sentimental about. So I was thinking of void storage as a place to keep the overflow of items to be used for transmog, and it seemed like a lot of others were thinking that way, too.

Obviously, if I'm unusual, Blizzard shouldn't be designing for edge/niche cases like me. I really have no idea whether your situation or mine is more common!
