Mark my words:Patch 4.4 Notes- "When a random dungeon group completes Zul'Aman or Zul'Gurub, they will each be awarded an extra bag of loot, which may contain gems, extra gold, or a shot at a brand-new troll-themed mount! This is to combat the tendency of PuGs to immediatly disband upon entering a troll dungeon."

You heard it here first. Either they'll do that, or they'll nerf them into oblivion the way they did Oculus, or both. They're going to *have* to. And people will still probably end up dropping like flies, just like Oculus.

Also - 'please be a tank - we'll give you candy !'

Oculuuuus! omg, my priest never did get that one on heroic. Groups just fell apart at the door if it was a random, and I just never thought to see how long it'd take to sit in queue to do that one specifically.I'm enjoying the ability to get valor points, something I was never able to do before. Though if I never see heroic deadmines again, I can't say I'll be sad. I am happy that I've successfully completed each heroic at aleast once. The only place that has gear for me is ZA, a nice shoulder item that never drops when I'm in there.. there were bracers but in trying to get those bracers I was able to purchase the valor ones instead.I like the idea of a goodie bag at the end, since I'll never be eligable for the goodie bag for healers and tanks. Of course, people would still complain about it.

This is my concern as well. Having two separate dungeon sets that were previously different tiers mashed into one big group is going to cause major group drop problems unless troll heroics are normalized to the difficulty of the regular Cata heroics. Then there's the issue of those two heroics also offering better gear than the rest, but I suppose that's less of a problem for those gearing up for the endgame tier dungeons.

This change is everything we needed to mix it up. I didn't mind randoms in wrath because it wasn't the same dungeon every time. When you do a random that's not all that random (only one of two dungeons) it gets old fast. I like the idea of queuing new ones for gear and old ones for valor points when i don't need gear. Because i like mixing it up. I don't want to see the same dungeon all the timeSome morons will leave troll heroics when they pop but for most part i don't see that happen. you gotta realize that the average ilvl of players in there is going to take a huge leap, with the new epics available from new 5 mans and darkmoon and crafting, the troll heroics will be nerfed by gear. they are already far easier then they used to be, now adays pugs are 50/50 on finishing bear runs, complete pugs. About half get it half don't. IT certainly wasn't that way on launch, only an organized pre made was getting em.

And if they nerf it, will they leave the mount in? There are a lot of folks who would have a mount except for that 5th random pug who was always afk/standing in fire/pulling the wrong group/doing 7k dps in their 359 gear.

Actually, I think the fact that there are already rare-drop mounts in the Troll dungeons that many people do not have will be some incentive to run them rather than quit. Especially with the ever increasing ilvl of players, I don't believe the slight increase in difficulty of these dungeons will dissuade a lot of folks from taking one more stab at getting them. Of course, once the Zul'Aman bear becomes as easy to get as the Bronze Drake you might see some auto-quitters, but hopefully by then ZA will just be another roflstomp.
