Wait... What? The entire definition of this guild is, "a liberal guild." That is what it's founded on, that is what it thrives on.If we are to discuss this guild, we need to discuss it's political heart.Anyways, this guild seems to be really lame. I mean, roleplaying is a fantastic idea, but the idea of acting out quests and quest giving, just to collect several mundane objects is... Rather hilarious.I mean, whenever I see a guild that has, "an open guild bank," "free repairs," "members that support each other," I know that guild will have problems. There is a reason why other guilds don't do this. It's so open to abuse.Anyways... For a guild that prides itself on being tolerant, they are incredibly discriminatory to anyone who does not have left-wing view points. I mean, as this article describes, anyone who does not conform to this viewpoint is expected not to respond or participate in many of the guild chat's discussions. That's what I call, "a hostile social environment."What I find quite... Disturbing is the emphasis this guild places on both, "all ages," and, "liberal discussion." I mean, I really don't believe that children or those of a young age should be heavily exposed to politics. If one surrounds one's self with those of identical viewpoints... It simply encourages an atmosphere where one cannot understand different viewpoints.Argh.This guild seems to be jam-packed full of bad ideas and terrible behavior. That's my opinion on it, and what I have to say.

LOL You know why there isn't abuse? Cause we actually care about the guild. I've been part of the guild for um.. what.. a year? give or take.. Seen some Drama (though I don't pay attention to it much) but I've never seen any real issues with our polices. I think the few times anyone has "abused" the resources.. they were talked to first.. I don't remember it ever happening more than once. We even have folks who volunteer to go out and gather mats and whatnot when we are low on things... and they actually do it. So really.. it works, assuming your adults, not greedy, and care about folks and not generally be a ^%^&%$T(#$%.

It is not tolerance to tolerate bigotry and hatred.Saying that it is intolerant for not tolerating bigots is an oxymoron that is very popular among hate groups to try and make themselves sound legitimate.Tolerance is an antonym of bigotry. As for exposing kids to politics - people do that everyday. Heck, the Tea Party is even running 'Youth Camps' (but talking about that would bring us into a Godwin moment...)Do you feel the left should not be able to teach real nurturing family values in the place of the right's concept of power-based family values? That only one side gets to consider its values 'family oriented?'That's a clever attempt to shut up opposition.
