The problem is WoW Insider chose to allow a guild to air its political views. Personally I don't give a damn if the guild was from the Daily Kos or from the Tea Party. Such an interview could have been done without such partisan grandstanding as was done when it described the relationship in the guild. Let's try it:
"The guild members are expected to avoid voicing certain opinions which go against the political values of the guild. If they don't like our values, they can go to another guild."
See how much less partisan that is?
