It certainly is political when one starts using terms like "right wing."
It demonstrates a hostility towards a conservative position, much as "left wing" shows hostility towards a liberal position. Once the interviewee starts in with anti-Republican rhetoric, it is clear the article has gone from "this is what we believe" to bashing, just as a hypothetical tea party guild would be bashing if they started using similar rhetoric towards Democrats.
But I'm done with this article and don't see the point of continuing this as you seem to be determined to pin a position to me which I do not hold (I loathe both political parties and believe they both miss the point).
