I'm a fan of 'WeakAuras' for tracking specific buffs.Farming the BRD 5-man heroic in early wrath taught me its nice to have some huge visual stack counter for gimmick mechanics. After I started having half my screen counting up the stacks on those beams when I was there as heals on one of my healers - I was never again the person who wiped us from transforming. And I've since taken to using the auras to mark all sorts of things - from putting a glow around which stance or presence I'm in, a larger counter for sunder stacks on a mob, a counter of earth shields still left on the tank (when my shaman is healing), and so on.Add to the charms addons are world markers. A lot of addons have conflicts with them - but these are usually temporary and a reload of your UI can give them back to you. They let you mark locations rather than mobs.- in Raid Finder where you'll have countless PUGlies - you will want to be able to quickly tell them 'you guys stand here, the rest of you there, but the healer, get over there. Adds will come from this spot and move to that spot...- with world markers I can set lucky charm beams all over the place and just tell the PUGlies, stand under square, and stack on purple beam when 'The Event' happens.- We all know they'll be expecting tanks to know this and know what -they- should be doing in addition to what we should be doing. World markers will just make that smoother for you to handle.
