I have to say, I think the "link achievement" practice for recruiting traditional PUGs got a bad reputation for good reasons, but I can honestly see "link LFR kill achievement" as a far more acceptable tool to cut down on explanation time in time-efficient server-side raid PUGing. I can see LFR as an acceptable preparation step to anyone serious about raiding with the handicaps that traditional PUGs present.
I, personally, would not feel comfortable responding to a "looking for more" post in trade without having seen the fight first hand, now that there is a self-enabled way to do so.
Just my opinion.

Except they're saying that LFR groups won't get any achievements.
