While running tank-capable alts as dps, I've successfully led vote-kicks on raid-geared tanks that were either being stupid or pricks in randoms, and tanked the rest of the instance with compliments from heals and dps for doing a better job with relatively crappy gear. The LFR raid finder will have to be relatively easy, though, IMO. Think about even a pretty easy boss like Beth'tilac with an LFR group with no voice chat. What about a boss like Baleroc where dps need precision shard soaking (maybe 25-man reduces the precision required somewhat?) And a boss like Ragnaros with so many things going on would never work with an LFR group. Even a boss like Alysrazor that's pathetically easy once you know the fight has so many moving parts that in LFR I doubt you'd actually be able to actually learn the fight. It makes me wonder if they'll be removing entire mechanics from the LFR difficulty. It will definitely be interesting to see, and I have many alts so I can experience it as dps, tank, or heals. It definitely won't be a replacement for my main or alt raids with my guild though.
