They did the same thing last year, too. Gave us BB King, which asked us to use the air rifle to shoot each enemy leader. I bet we'll get a new achievement each year to go along with each gift. :)

Well, I ran out of reasons to go to the enemy cities once I got my black war bear. That was before the BB King achievement

Crashin' & Thrashin' was also added without becoming part of the Merrymaker meta.
