Tyler, would increasing the amount of damage starsurge does by a certain amount (in addition to lowering the cooldown) possibly make it a worthwhile bonus? Or, is Starsurge just not a good spell to add the set bonus onto, regardless of what they do? Increasing the damage done by starsurge would mean that we'd get at least some bonus even on Shooting Star procs & undo some of the harm done by their nerfing Starsurge for PvP reasons (since any moonkin in a 4-piece PvE set is going to be dead meat in PvP, it doesn't matter for PvP if they make starsurge hit harder for PvE from this bonus).

It depends on what level they were aiming for, but, yeah, having a modest increase to Starsurge's damage would more than make up for any inconsistencies. It would have to be around the 10 - 15% range though, and I don't see Blizzard giving us that considering how conservative they're being with the two-set bonus.

Okay, so... no starsurge set bonus then. What could they give us that would actually be worthwhile & not screw up our already pretty fragile rotational timy wimy thing?

Well that and didn't they recently nerf the starsurge DMG because of PvP issues with back to back starsurge RNG?

...then again who uses tier gear in PvP...nevermind I'll walk away now.
