My 10 man guild runs use a straight /roll, with unofficial encouragement to the effect of "play nice". We have all armor types represented (though not perfectly balanced) except spellpower plate, so it works pretty well - most non-tier rolls are uncontested.In contrast, the system we use to determine who is going to be *in* the raid (because almost always have more dps than can come) is a little more complex; /roll with modifiers for performance, attendance and officer rating.
