I use the d-pad to move my character in wow, its a lot easier to just use it for movement and strafing and then using mouse turning with it. Don't have to worry about having to move closer and give up a bit of tanking/dps damage, instead I can be running and smash the guy with collosus smash while the tank moves him and us out of the fire.
