The Daily Quest: A few useful bits of information

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Looking for some useful information? Here's your first note -- pulling anything in the bar to your left while fighting Coren Direbrew isn't really recommended. Trust me, your group doesn't need a bar brawl for Brewfest authenticity. For more useful information, check out these posts from around the blogosphere.
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

- Pugnacious Priest has a lovely and informative post about hiding battle standards in Battlegrounds.
- The WoW Debutante has a suggestion for an entertaining guild event based on a television show. Sounds like fun!
- Maps for Tanks is a relatively new blog, and it's full of ... maps. For tanks! Self-explanatory, but this is a really good resource for finding paths out of those complicated dungeons.

Love the headline image. There have been many times I have felt that way as a priest watching my group doing something absurd and it takes all my will not to run in the other direction... XD

I think I've said that exact same thing, in that exact same situation. The only reason I know it's not me is that I was a Tauren druid while saying it.

Maps for Tanks looks like a great website. As a web developer with an eye for design (who incidently can not design himself) I find it very appealing.
Shame it'll be probably a few weeks or months before this site is useful for me. I'm not up to date with Cataclysm heroics. Everything before that I'm pretty good with.

I love Maps for Tanks. It's such a great idea & so useful. When I first started tanking I'd go through the dungeon as dps first, trying to memorise the best way round for when I did it as a tank. No need now!
Also - can I post a link to my blog here too? It would mean extra work for Maps for Tanks though if it came to be. I'm making the case for Level 1 Dungeons! :)

Thanks very much for the shout-out for Maps For Tanks! It's a fun little side project from Disciplinary Action, and I'm so pleased it's come in handy for directionally challenged tanks like myself. I'll keep adding as fast as I can draw arrows!
