Let's do another weekend where I play new music I like for you. Here's the opening track from Foster the People's debut album Torches.
Andre asked:
My account was hacked yesterday and banned earlier today for exploitative use of the economy. I've never bought gold or powerleveling services, nor have I ever bought and account or character. I submitted a ticket to Blizz. Will I be able to get my account back?
I saw in the comments that this problem is already solved, but here's an answer for posterity. "Economy exploitation" is the blanket term used when an account is used for illicit purposes, such as selling gold or spamming ads. It's normally the result of an account compromise. Just appeal the closure through the normal channels, and you should be fine.
Bonk asked:
Do you think the designer who made the Paladin PvP S11 armour set played a little too much Darksiders and wanted to re-create War in WoW? The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the armour set was "That looks like War."
Hell no, dude. It bears maybe a passing resemblance to War, but I'll tell you what it really is: the visual aesthetic from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in armor form.
That said, of course, Joe Madureira has always had a Warcraft-y style to his work (Ludo Lullabi seems to be in that same school as well), so there's bound to be some cross-pollination here and there.
Kurash asked:
First, I promise that this is not a "Justice Point Conversion" question! However, I can't remember hearing if the current tier of Valor Point-purchasable items will once again become available for Justice Points.
So: Will items that are currently available from the Valor Point vendor become purchasable for Justice Points once the patch hits?
That's how things work now, yes.
Stephanie asked:
If a mage at level 85 conjures Mana Cake, and gives it to a level 34, will it become a Mana Cookie? Or is there no way for higher levels to produce low level vittles since spell levels went away.
It'll stay a Mana Cake, meaning the level 34 player couldn't use it. Unfortunately, mages have no way of conjuring food lower than their current tier.

Per my time on the PTR this morning, you mog the item. The item that is mogged has a "Transmogrified" note on it just below the name.
Jamie Sep 30th 2011 11:47AM
That's going to be painful. Although not too bad for end game as I'd imagine upgrades aren't out of the box usable straight from a drop. Once you need to gem, enchant, reforge things.
But for while you level, that'd be a problem.
Matthew Sep 30th 2011 12:08PM
You're right Jamie! I think this was meant more for end game players who spend months looking at the same darn cloak or back of helm.
Or for those darn heirlooms. I once changed races just for a cosmetic change!!!
Leveling up is a fun time where everything changes, mogging that would be like adding frosting to icing.

I still much prefer it this way, as a player on an RP server. I for one carry lots and lots of gear sets, and while it will be fantastic to have my main, powerful set be an awesome looking one, I will still be switching to a different look when I am not in a combat/dangerous area.

On the PTR it's the item, once your mog something, when you mouseover the item it will have additional text (like when it's reforged) that says "Transmogrified to: Item name" in purple text.

Lord Godfrey.

Ah, sorry about my comment yesterday, my thinking processes weren't quite ready for the day. I meant to say that a lot more achievement is associated with defeating end bosses than individual bosses. In the other expansions it felt like defeating individual bosses was a greater triumph than in Cataclysm. Defeating mimiron hard mode or heroic putricide felt like big achievements even compared to heroic lich king or algalon. Sure beating the latter fights got you more reknown but it still felt like an accomplishment to have beaten bosses other then the final boss. I mean sure, cataclysm had some of this. If you could do heroic ascendant council you were pretty awesome, but for the main part it feels like only the end bosses matter for progression. ICC had 4 wings and the Lich King. Downing the last bosses in wings was really fulfilling. Finally to the question: do you think Blizzard is trying to go back to more fulfillment from individual bosses by going to a more Wing-organized raid?
eel5pe Sep 30th 2011 11:35AM
given blizzard's infuriating drift towards making less bosses per raid, my guess would be no.
Didax Sep 30th 2011 11:06AM
Do we know yet what the ilvl for raid finder loot is going to be? 384? With normal T13 at 397?
Starlin Sep 30th 2011 11:06AM
What's up with Lord Rhyolith's volcanos? We were taking twice as much damage from eruptions last night compared to our kill from last week. Did he get buffed or did we just have a terrible night with the RNG?
mazca13 Sep 30th 2011 11:20AM
We were noticing that. We killed him comfortably the two weeks before the nerf, then got eaten up by him last week due to vastly increased raid damage. Haven't tried him this lockout yet.
Kylenne Sep 30th 2011 11:44AM
We noticed some pretty odd volcano behavior in general on our H attempt the other night.
MattKrotzer Sep 30th 2011 11:52AM
He deep breaths more.
Skarn Sep 30th 2011 6:28PM
Huh. We didn't notice anything odd on Tuesday.
Well...unless you consider "odd" as "we one-shot him with only 8 raiders (1 tank, 2 heals) with a record kill time for us." Yeah, that's kinda odd, but so very far from your experience.

I heard that a lot of new profession recipes would be added in 4.3. Have we gotten any information on those from the PTR yet?
Ilmyrn Sep 30th 2011 11:11AM
MMOChamp had a bunch. Several blacksmithing recipes, epic gem cuts, a new enchant (Maelstrom Shatter), some leatherworking, tailoring, etc.
Bellajtok Sep 30th 2011 11:14AM
Thanks! Anybody have a link? I'll be searching, but.... I don't usually find the stuff I'm looking for when I do a search. Too easily distracted.
Ilmyrn Sep 30th 2011 11:15AM
Actually, going back it's not that we've got Epic gem cuts, but that the epic gems are uncut. Anyway, http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/2475-Patch-4.3-on-PTR.
Bellajtok Sep 30th 2011 11:24AM
Well, those are... nice. Good stuff for Blacksmithing, good stuff for Leatherworking, good stuff for Tailoring, a much-needed ability for Enchanting.....
My druid engineer is just going to go crawl in a corner now. A nerfbat and no recipes is rather saddening.
