Let's do another weekend where I play new music I like for you. Here's the opening track from Foster the People's debut album Torches.
Andre asked:
My account was hacked yesterday and banned earlier today for exploitative use of the economy. I've never bought gold or powerleveling services, nor have I ever bought and account or character. I submitted a ticket to Blizz. Will I be able to get my account back?
I saw in the comments that this problem is already solved, but here's an answer for posterity. "Economy exploitation" is the blanket term used when an account is used for illicit purposes, such as selling gold or spamming ads. It's normally the result of an account compromise. Just appeal the closure through the normal channels, and you should be fine.
Bonk asked:
Do you think the designer who made the Paladin PvP S11 armour set played a little too much Darksiders and wanted to re-create War in WoW? The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the armour set was "That looks like War."
Hell no, dude. It bears maybe a passing resemblance to War, but I'll tell you what it really is: the visual aesthetic from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in armor form.
That said, of course, Joe Madureira has always had a Warcraft-y style to his work (Ludo Lullabi seems to be in that same school as well), so there's bound to be some cross-pollination here and there.
Kurash asked:
First, I promise that this is not a "Justice Point Conversion" question! However, I can't remember hearing if the current tier of Valor Point-purchasable items will once again become available for Justice Points.
So: Will items that are currently available from the Valor Point vendor become purchasable for Justice Points once the patch hits?
That's how things work now, yes.
Stephanie asked:
If a mage at level 85 conjures Mana Cake, and gives it to a level 34, will it become a Mana Cookie? Or is there no way for higher levels to produce low level vittles since spell levels went away.
It'll stay a Mana Cake, meaning the level 34 player couldn't use it. Unfortunately, mages have no way of conjuring food lower than their current tier.

And will I able to take my VP out of Void Storage so they can be automatically turned into shorter LFR DPS queue times?

And will the new arena rewards be profession mounts that provide raid consumables and persistent buffs that help us learn boss mechanics and battle rez major lore figures who will provide us tips on expanding our wealth and prestige through effective raid leadership and unique alchemical discoveries?
llcjay2003 Sep 30th 2011 11:54AM
Will Basic Campfire give a battle rez to Kael'thas to enable Hogger to mine the phased veins in Twilight Highlands so that Ghostcrawler can nerf Aspect of the Wild?

I recommend any of these questions for Blizzcon Q&As.

Nonsense my ass. I demand an answer!
Alexran Sep 30th 2011 11:42AM
Do regular dungeons still drop JP in the PTR?
Noyou Sep 30th 2011 11:59AM
And kittens.
MattKrotzer Sep 30th 2011 1:03PM
Speaking of dropping kittens...
If bread always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, could you strap a piece of buttered bread (butter-side up) to a cat's back, drop them, and then utilize them as an anti-gravity device as they hover just above the floor, unable to land without breaking the laws of the universe?

A secret group of Gnome scientists is working on this even as we speak.
The cat lady in Elwyn is the main supplier of "test subjects".
I have also heard unconfirmed reports about Goblins doing similar tests in the vicinity of Silvermoon City. Presumably because of the large cat population.

I saw that as the header and squee'd, love that song. Plus the music video of it reminds me of Fallout so I had a double squee, a good start to a day if I do say so myself.

With tier gear going back to raid only, what are we going to be buying with our valor? Is it gonna be like a non-tier armor equivalent or are they just gonna put the..."filler?"...slots such as rings, necks, bracers? Is it all gonna be the same ilvl as tier 13?
Noyou Sep 30th 2011 11:59AM
Pizza.
MattKrotzer Sep 30th 2011 12:05PM
I believe it will all be "off-set" pieces. Non-set pieces, like what the bosses drop currently in Firelands.
Basically, it switches the boss loot table with the vendor loot table, if you were to apply it to current content.
Honestly, this makes WAY more sense to me. There's no reason that grinding Heroics should reward you with the best gear in the game. However, making the comparable non-set gear available seems like a smart alternative.

Q4TQ: Could we ever see proper Rogue tanking in the future, like they have over in Rift? (i.e. designed and implemented as part of WoW's design, not players pushing the existing spec and gear to solo lower level instances.) Or would this make Rogues imbalanced in PVP etc etc....
Noyou Sep 30th 2011 12:03PM
Please no. No mage tanking, no shaman tanking, no warlock tanking. Thanks. They have all they can handle with making tanking fun/balancing how it is now.
MattKrotzer Sep 30th 2011 12:57PM
Why does my comment to this keep getting the "an email has been sent" treatment, rather than properly heaping my abuse upon him for bringing up this asinine question once again?
The comment system is trying to force me to be nice! THOUGHT POLICE!
