Are you Arms or Fury? That has a large impact on how much Rage you can dump quickly. Fury has fewer buttons to hit early on and suffers from RNG syndrome at higher levels. Arms on the other hand is GCD locked 90% of the time, I won't say we are swimming in Rage, but we have enough to hit our buttons and POSSIBLY a HS here and there (unless Deadly Calm is up, then all bets are off lol).
I've been a Warrior for over 5 years, I've got 2 max level Warriors at 365 ilvl, one of which I leveled as Fury recently. From what I've experienced, Fury outperforms many specs up until about level 61ish, when they lose class/spec appropriate gear. This is further exaggerated once you hit level 72 and the dungeon blues dry up until you hit 80. Then you start out incredibly weak (the ilvl jump from Wrath leveling to Cata is extremely large to such a gear dependent class) but quickly catch up with everyone else as you level to 85 and gear up (remember to focus on your weapons over everything else). I'd still say Arms leveling is easier and more fulfilling, plus you don't ever see miss 14 times in a row. lol
