Alliance QQ on the way, but...Where's the notable Alliance exclusive chains, like "Welcome to the Machine" and "the Gob Squad"?

Alliance? In Cata?

While I haven't leveled in there at all yet, I understand Redridge Mountains has a number of quests with goofy NPCs and compelling storylines.

Try Redridge mountains for something similar to the Gob Squad (the "Rambo" questline, which also continues in the Burning Steppes)Sadly I haven't encountered anything like Welcome to the Machine for alliance, which is a shame, it's hilariously funny and well thought up :)

I've done all of Eastern Kingdoms for Loremaster since Cata, and there are some great NPC's for Alliance to. Keeshen (Modeled after Rambo I believe) in Redridge and latter in the Burning Steppes are really great, I regret so much accedently deleting his headband (one of the quest rewards) and logging before I realized.

There are lots of cool new quest series for Alliance. Redridge gets a Rambo spoof (and a finished bridge), Westfall has the CSI theme that also updates the lore for the VC family, and Duskwood has some interesting quests that deal with the Worgen.

Alliance doesn't have an equivalent to Welcome to the Machine -- but Redridge has an ongoing chain with groups that help you out, as many have said. Westfall's also great for NPC interaction as well.

I think your equivalent to the Gob Squad is Keeshams team in Redridge....however long they fail to stick around for. Not been through it since a bugged version from the Cataclysm Beta but was the zone that stood out to me the most from the alliance side

While the Keeshan team doesn't return in Twilight, you do command a squad of soldiers there. Not the same recognition, but so be it. I'm currently running a worgen through Kalimdor and I think the Stonetalon stuff was very well done (night elves and gnomes just mix well IMO).If you wanted to say that the Alliance lost ground in the Cataclysm, I'd agree with you (night elves are getting beat up left and right), but I don't think the questlines are that unbalanced because of it.I didn't do the gob-squad on my leveling Tauren. I got to Garrosh, he was an ass, he sent me to help Azshara, where the first mission for my tauren druid was to chop a bunch of trees down and kill off wildlife that was dying due to our actions. ("Might as well kill them and get the food for the horde") So I went off to Barrens to kill more razerback. I know plenty of people don't even read the quests, and it's not a mark on the players, but I always stall on horde side because most of the quests just suck.

Yeah I quickly lost interest in the article after discovering it dealth with nothing but horde quests. At first I figured this must have been written by someone that had only played horde but she stops in to make a comment to the contrary.I'm just confused as to why this isn't follow with the tagline "All horde edition" and let us know when we can read the alliance version.
