Breakfast Topic: Which WoW Insider column would you like to guest write?

I know, this topic was already addressed in The Queue, but let's ignore that for the moment. Someone at WoW Insider gets sick/has a baby/is trapped in Azeroth due to a bad writing plot, and the site visitors are needed to save the day. What column do you think you could handle?
Personally, I think I could step in for Officers' Quarters or Drama Mamas (Drama Daddy for me, I suppose). I always end up dealing with the social aspects of WoW, especially the ones that require hard choices and hurt feelings. Gold Capped might be something I could handle, depending on the timing. I've helped a good amount of folks learn how to stop losing money on the AH (and no, I'm not just telling them to ignore their alts). I normally sit in my chair nodding when I read these articles, and I often point my fellow players to them if we've had a similar situation come up in which one of the articles comes to a similar conclusion we discussed.
What column do you think you could fill in for at WoW Insider? Can you take the reins from Alex Ziebert and be the WoW Archivist for day? Fill in for Michael Grey and post a winner for WoW Moviewatch? Or maybe you, like Michael Sacco, have some connections and can conduct the interviews for Ask a Faction Leader?

Breakfast Topics (I'm in Australia :/), Drama Mamas, Ask A Faction Leader.

I don't know enough theorycraft to handle the Ret portion of The Light and How to Swing it, so I'd have to say ... look out, KNOW YOUR LORE!

Give me the Warlock column so I can rant about the demise of Drain-Life Affliction, and what I'd like to do to bring it back!

The Shadow Priest column.
Just so I can pretend I'm as awesome as Fox is.

i wouldn't mind writing about a special article for Encrypted Text. Give players a look at combat rogues and the decline of them. show players what will be the best gear, other ways of getting slow agi main hands, overall stats needed and helpful hints on how to play this spec.

I could handle a column of Shifting Perepectives - Feral edition. As a hybrid DPS/Tank I have some insight into how to do both in one spec, which is something I don't believe our feral columnists have ever addressed.
Also, I could rock out a Drama Mamma (Drama Daddy?) column, no prob. ;)

I'd like to take over for Frosthiem on Scattered Shots, of course it would be nothing but PvP jabber and whining about how Beast Mastery needs a buff, but it would still be huntery!

Would want to write a paladin column (preferably Holy), if i had the chance.
I also wanted to write a breakfast topic, but liivng in Europe makes that unlikely :-(

Being a mage and LOVING Arcane Brilliance (keep up the Warlock killing Archmage Pants!) I'd have to pick that one.

I'd love to guest write the casual gamer since i can only play a couple hours a week now with my busy schedule.
or I'd love to guest write in "etc light and how to wing it", an in-depth look at the ultimate fail-tank pallies.
or something.

There are a few columns that I would love to take a stab at, assuming that the opportunity ever came about.
Around Azeroth - I love screen shots. I love talking about screen shots. I'd love to showcase other players' screen shots!
WoW Moviewatch - I'm a huge WoW machinima fan. Definitely think I could handle finding some new WoW based movies/short videos and doing a short write up on them.
The OverAchiever - I've been doing a similar series over on my blog, World of Saz, for quite some time so I could probably swing the writing for this column. When I originally started Hoarders: Azeroth Edition, I apparently was somehow unaware that The OverAchiever existed (a huge derp moment on my part, considering how often I was reading WoW Insider when I was starting my blog up...will you ever forgive me Allison?). Needless to say, I'm fairly familiar with the realm of achievements and collecting.
Drama Mamas - I was called guild mom for a good two to three years, probably because I often played the role of 'mom' (Stop fighting you two! Be nice. Stop hogging all the loot, Timmy.). Generally I was the social guild drama diffuser, the one who people came to when they had personal in game or real life problems, the mediator. I like to fancy myself as someone who's capable of giving sound advice for problematic situations. I just might be up to the challenge of trying to sort out the drama that makes its way to the eyes of our resident drama mamas.

The addon column. It's fine as it is I guess, but I there's some certain addons that I think everyone should know about, but are never discussed. My favorite addons are one that address small annoyances in the game's UI, or ones that make life just a little bit easier, but those aren't the sort of addons that seems to get discussed. We have things like archeology helper or that transmog one that just came out, and while they're nice they're not really as essential to my wow playing experience as addons like StealYourCarbon and AutoRole have become.
Also the addon column needs more instructional articles. And not just in the cerebral "this is the mindset you should be in when making an interface" more like step by step. How can a person modify a lua file? How do you write a macro or even a script? Hell even an article about how to write a basic "Hello World" addon would be fun.

I've actually done a couple of Breakfast Topics. Trust me, it was very exciting to see my name on the site, and i hope someday to do more of them.
Other than that--I think I'd like to help out with Drama Mamas & WOW 101. I could help write Shifting Perspectives for Boomkins if Tyler ever wanted someone to write an article on how not to play a Boomlin. (Lesson 1, keep your big feathered butt out of the fire!)
LEGofreak Oct 5th 2011 6:03PM
I would love to write Blood Pact. I've played a warlock since WoW came out and I'd love to give other people my insight into how our class is and what i think needs improving!
Rekviem Oct 5th 2011 6:05PM
WoW Rookie always looked like a lot of fun, and since I've been playing for just a bit less than two years, I'm not all that far removed from that perspective.
If I had a choice, though, I'd love to take a crack at Blood Pact. After all, MY main is actually a warlock. :p

I could write the gold columns.
Playing the AH is the most enjoyable "elder gaming" in WoW and the only balanced PvP.
Philster043 Oct 6th 2011 12:00AM
Probably the Lore/Tinfoil articles or the Overachiever.
I enjoy researching obscure details on WoW, however I will have to admit the people at WoW Insider know their stuff better than I do.
