Void Storage Prices
I just recently got back from a meeting with Ghostcrawler and have an update to share regarding the prices for Void Storage. Instead of charging 1000g to unlock a Void Storage vault and 100g to deposit and withdraw items, we're looking at only requiring the following amounts for each transaction:
Unlock - 100g
Deposit - 25g
Withdrawal - Free
We agree with the suggestions we've seen that placing a higher fee on withdrawals would create a stronger deterrent for using Void Storage as a secondary bank. That said, we don't want players to find themselves in a situation where they are unable to retrieve an item simply because they don't have the gold. This is why we're leaning towards a more expensive deposit (to differentiate Void Storage from a normal bank) and allowing all withdrawals to be free.
Please keep in mind that these prices may not hit the PTR and are, of course, subject to change before the release of 4.3.

The reason some of us are annoyed by "optional content" is because it's not. We may not have to actively "use" said feature but we do have to pay for it's development, it's implementation, and any negative impact it has on game performance. This all pales in comparison to the fact that fluff like this and transmogrification takes potential resources away from actual content development. I'd much rather have something new to DO as opposed to something old to wear and a place to put it. And by new to do I mean world content as well as raids and dungeons. If the team(s) assigned to the fluff features were assigned to real content ... we'd have more to do that didn't involve standing around SW looking "cool".

So 80 slots...and I will be using ALL of those slots. Soo 2100 gold for opening it up and then filling it up. I can dig that.

I am not really sure why people are still saying 25g is to expensive If I do dungeons all day long or even raid and quest for a full day typically my repair bill is higher than that and no I don't wipe a lot but think about it. Thats 2 dailies in order to deposit an item it really isn't that bad.

This is the worst thing I've ever seen in WoW, an interesting idea to let us play around with our appearance and you ruin it with bullsheet. I drop in a different mace and I paid 1 (one) gold to change its appearance. I drop in a cloak and it says 300 gold is the cost. HA HA. Their Void Storage idea, awful. Yes it would be nice saving some sets to have a different look now and again but not the way they have designed it. Forget it. Vendor trash as always. I won't use it at all.
