Damn, that's so tragic. I even got some dust in my eyes. Both of them. Stories like this make me want to go Cenarion Circle or Argent Dawn instead of Horde.

The more I learn of the poor old dwarf's misfortunes, the more I want to hear he somehow survived the attack on the caravan. 'E deserves better.

And then what? He finds the remains of the caravan and thinks he now lost his two daughters...
As a father, I don't know how I could ever deal with what he just went through in the last 2 comics. Having to lose 2 more daughters? It would break anyone. Better to die thinking I may have saved them with the time I bought them.

I imagine that night elf trying to make conversation with her fellow passenger, and the dwarf just standing there at the rail, like a stone, answering only in silence and monosyllables.

Not to disrepsect the author but "dwarfspeak" is really annoying and hard to read. Just for future reference, I know it's the artists call and all.

I can understand how you might feel. For myself, though, the brogue adds immeasurably to the texture of the retelling. As a historical re-creationist who dabbles rather heavily with the Scots, perhaps I'm not the most unbiased, tho.

I completely understand how you feel. I have to phonetically sound out the words as I type them. Sadly, it's the Azerothian stereotype, and makes him that much more "dwarvish."
Same with trolls. XD
