Don't know if this was stated but I would like to see heirlooms implimented in an entirely new light. Once you buy it a string is set to your account, you receive no physical item in your bags. Instead you use the option on the gear menu that scrolls out to equip items in your bags in that slot and have heirlooms you have purchased be on the slot list. I'm sure this would be the easiest solution, as it was previously stated heirloom pets are already automatically mailed to a new alt, it is just because of one simple string on your account. It would require a bit of a rehaul on the equipment manager, but not a major one, just enough to let it read the new string values they would be adding for the heirloom items. This would solve all cross realm/cross faction problems we currently have and also free up bank space for people who have an alt dedicated solely to hording all the different heirloom items that they have purchased.

Of coarse I wrote this while completely neglecting the transmog system and I'm unsure if this would cause extreme issues with it, being that the physical item would not be in your bags, but I'm sure a few extra values could solve this problem for transmog as well. :p

Haha, yeah, my Bank Alt's personal Bank is the treasure trove for all heirlooms and pets. My alts have to check stuff in and out through him.
